Mince Beef Stroganoff - Cooking, Coaching & Conversations with Dr Lucy Burns

Join Dr Lucy for a really easy twist on the classic beef stroganoff. There is enough here to cook up a batch so you don't have to cook for a few nights, or to feed your whole family! You'll love how this recipe shows that even when you are tired and time-poor, cooking an evening meal doesn't have to be a complicated ordeal. This recipe is a classic for making the helpful thing easy!

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of beef/pork mince
  • Half a cup of chopped onions
  • 1 packet of Mingle Stroganoff
  • 700ml Passata
  • 500g chopped mushrooms
  • 300g whipped cottage cheese
  • green beans 

Instructions:

  1. Add olive oil to frypan
  2. Brown the onions and mince
  3. Stir in the Mingle seasoning
  4. Add the passata and chopped mushrooms
  5. Simmer covered for 10 minutes until the sauce is reduced
  6. Microwave green beans for your side dish
  7. Whip cottage cheese in blender and stir through
  8. Serve and enjoy!
