Slow cooker osso bucco - Cooking, Coaching & Conversations with Dr Lucy Burns

This week on Cooking, Coaching & Conversations, Dr Lucy shows how easy it is to prepare a delicious osso bucco using the slow cooker. There is nothing better on a cold winter's evening than coming home to a delicious and warming dinner ready for you and your family to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 4 x osso bucco 
  • chopped onions, we used frozen
  • 500g mushrooms, sliced
  • passata
  • Mingle Seasoning 'Spag Bol' sachet
  • cauliflower rice to serve

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, add the onions, mushroom, osso bucco, passata and Mingle Seasoning and cook until the meat is falling off the bone.
  2. Stir the osso bucco and leave the lid off to allow the sauce to reduce and thicken.
  3. Serve the osso bucco with pan-fried cauliflower rice.
