Cabbage and peas - Cooking, Coaching & Conversations with Dr Lucy Burns

Last night in Cooking, Coaching & Conversations Dr Lucy made a tasty and easy vegetable side dish. Served with some seasoned chicken drumsticks this fried cabbage and pea side dish is delicious.

Ingredients

  • butter
  • cabbage, sliced
  • frozen peas
  • goats cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Heat a large frying pan and add some butter.
  • Add the cabbage and cook while stirring for a few minutes until the cabbage is soft and caramelised.
  • Sprinkle in the peas, stir and allow the peas to cook.
  • Once the veggies are cooked, turn off the heat and crumble the goat's cheese on top. Season with salt and pepper and it is ready to serve.
